This $4.5 million dollar renovation was part of Owasso Highschool’s large-scale athletic upgrades and includes the football stadium, baseball field and high school track facility. Construction by Daniels removed the entire baseball field replaced it with turf and a new Ram logo was painted into shallow center field. The outfield wall was removed and replaced, as the outfield had to be raised to create a level surface. The wall in center field was raised to be 10 feet tall. Among the new amenities, the football field was upgraded with synthetic turf and a new video scoreboard was installed, along with an updated speaker and sound system. The infield of the track was removed and replaced with FieldTurf, as well, and it was lined for football.
“We’re extremely excited, appreciative of what the school board and administration have allowed to happen out here,” said Rams head coach Larry Turner. “I think it takes us to another level. There’s no place better than Owasso.”
